Well, been doing more “workout” related stuff over the past couple of weeks. I have gotten some mall walking in, though with the good weather I think tomorrow I will use some time to just walk about ouside. I have a couple of walking routes that get me up to four miles (or more) so doing them twice will allow me to hit ten or more miles walking.
Also picked up a mount and back to mount my Garmin GPS on my Bicycle. Considering I have seen it “loose” me, then adjust, it is possible that I may have some stray distance added in. One time I watched the GPS “locate” me four blocks from my correct location, then a couple of moments later it figured out where I really was, and the resulting map has a spike of some 800 feet, or more (combined) that I covered in a couple of seconds, with near right angle adjustments to my course. I would hate to experience the type of G forces required to actually accomplish such a feat.
The Wiki is up, I also have a sbs blog running at work (for whenever the powers that be consider this blog to be a potential hazard) and more to follow.
If you are wondering about new treats for your dog(s) I have found that the new Chew-lotta’s from “Meaty Bone” a Del Monte Pet Protducts division of Del Monte Foods, are my dogs favorite treat these days. Of course my Lab polishes off the “Medium/Large” size in about 20 min, but the “Small” size can take my Eski overnight to finish. If my Eski is not careful though, he sets his down, my Lab takes off with it, and it is gone in seconds.
A side effect is that both of them have much better breath these days. I would say that they are far more effective than the Pedigree DentaBones, or even the various rawhides we have gone through.
Another favorite of both of them is the rawhides from “DingoBone”, website. My lab likes the “boomerang” style, and my Eski can get just about one of the knots off of a “Meat in the Middle” small bone in the time my Lab has polished off the boomerang.
